FAQs

How does your female edit program work?

After your 1:1 physical therapy consultation, you will transition to the Female Edit MVMNT LAB programming. It is up to you whether you prefer 1:1 sessions or our small group MVMNT LAB collective classes at Rise Wellness Studio.

Who is the Female Edit Program best suited for?

While we find that most women would benefit from our mid-body approach, we prioritize enrollment to help those who will benefit the most. If you experience urinary leaking, painful sex, prolapse, vulvadynia, pain / dysfunction in your pelvic area, diastasis (abdominal separation), chronic hip or glute dysfunction such as dead butt syndrome (poor gluteal activation) we want to enroll you as priority clients.

What is the foundation for your programming?

Pilates and pelvic floor physical therapy rooted interventions are the foundation of our program. All of our movement is to the beat of the music which creates a fun and social approach. The Female Edit exercises and interventions are the result of Tara’s experience with thousands of women's bodies in her barre studios. You will experience the best of physical therapy, pilates, yoga, and barre using your own body weight, bands, balls, and light weights to reform, refine, and restore your pelvic floor and core.

Do you accept insurance?

Please see our pricing information for more information on specific programming costs. We do not accept insurance, however you may submit the program costs to your insurance to seek reimbursement.
